NTSB: Disorientation Led to Fatal Plane Crash

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has issued its report into a fatal 2015 plane crash that killed nine people, finding that the pilot was under pressure from his company to return his passengers to a cruise ship, which led to him becoming disoriented in cloudy weather. Investigators blamed both the pilot's disorientation and the company's culture for the tragedy, which occurred on June 25, 2015.

Family Killed in Florida Plane Crash

A family, including two children, was killed in a Florida plane crash at the Williston Municipal Airport. Authorities are investigating the accident to determine how the plane could have crashed so near the airport without authorities being alerted until the following day. A spokesperson for the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has said it could take months to determine what caused the accident, as investigators consider the many factors that may have played a role in the tragic plane crash.

Four People Killed in Oregon Plane Crash

Four people, including three family members, have been killed in an Oregon plane crash. The fatal small plane crash happened on Friday, April 7, 2017, as a family of three traveled from California to Oregon so their son could tour a university. Also killed in the accident was the pilot of the Piper PA aircraft.

Critics Call For Change in Wake of Robinson Helicopter Crashes

With New Zealand's Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC) currently investigating four accidents involving Robinson helicopters, critics are asking why so many pilots are involved in Robinson helicopter crashes. Most recently, Noel Edward Wilson died on Monday, March 27, when the Ro binson R22 he was flying crashed into a hilly area on New Zealand's west coast.
