Baum Hedlund Attorney Chosen as Top Young Lawyer in Southern California

Law & Politics and the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine just announced this year's Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2005. Only 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California (Los Angeles and Orange County) are selected as Rising Stars.

"To find Rising Stars, Law & Politics starts by mailing ballots to the most recent group of Super Lawyers: the top 5 percent of attorneys in the state. Super Lawyers are chosen based on a general survey to all attorneys who have been licensed in the state for five years or more, as well as extensive independent credentials research, a blue ribbon panel review process and a final review and check of good standing by the research department.

"Super Lawyers are asked to vote for the best attorneys who are either 40 or under or who have been practicing 10 or fewer years. They are instructed to vote for lawyers they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other first-hand courtroom observation."
